  Dec 15,  · I have several Carter albums and have the same reaction. They're OK but nothing I really want to listen to more than once. The one exception is Uptown Conversation which several people have already mentioned. And the version of "Little Waltz" is really nice. I never understood his fascination with the piccolo bass.
